Tambour doors (also known as 'appliance garages') are increasingly popular in modern styled kitchens, as well as office spaces. The components supplied with the tambour doors are made to suit cabinets made from 18mm thick board.
Highly popular as they create a focal point. They also offer practical storage for small appliances and handy worktop level access. Operating on a balanced pre-assembled cassette mechanism, the doors have a smooth operation and stop safely in any position. A vertical brake is included, breaking the run of the tambour in any position. Easy installation, simply screw module to the cabinet. Tambour units have a face-fix frame which conceals the unit edge.
Suitable for internal cabinet heights up to & including 720mm. The width can not be altered. Offering a modern 25mm high slat, the Metallic Line tambour door kit would suit a variety of spaces, perfect for kitchens, offices, retail shops or anywhere that a requires a touch of class. The stainless steel finish will match kitchen appliances and modern-day colours perfectly.
Please note the tambour door kits are not suitable for use near water or heat sources.
