A sink waste plug basket strainer (often just called a basket strainer or sink strainer) is a component used in kitchen sinks to: Strain debris: It catches food particles and debris to prevent them from going down the drain, reducing blockages.
Act as a plug: It can also seal the sink to hold water for washing up, etc, when pushed or twisted into the closed position.
The 60mm Plug brushed steel includes a strainer waste & rubber seal gasket. The basket design allows it to be pushed closed to keep water from escaping down the sink or allows it to be used as a strainer to stop food waste from going down the sink.
Please note that the 60mm is the basket & outer flange will measure 70mm. The Clearwater W60 is available in many finishes, including Chrome, Gold, Matt black, and Artisan brass. Regency copper & Antique bronze.
